The acquisition of CD Projekt Red is the latest in a string of acquisitions by Electronic Arts.
In May, EA acquired Respawn Entertainment, the developer behind the popular Titanfall series, for $455 million.
In November 2017, EA acquired Ghost Games, the developer of the Need for Speed series, for an undisclosed amount.
