Meanwhile, the Bandit falls in love with the beautiful Carrie (Sally Field), who is also being pursued by the Sheriff.
Smokey and the Bandit was released on DVD on May 21, 2002 by Universal Studios. The DVD includes commentary by Burt Reynolds, a making-of featurette, the original theatrical trailer, and TV spots.
