Seven Brides For Seven Brothers is a 1954 American musical film directed by Stanley Donen, starring Howard Keel and Jane Powell. The film is an adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same name by Stephen Vincent Benet, and is about the Oregon pioneer Adam Pontipee, who marries six women in 1859. When he meets Milly, the seventh sister, he decides he wants her for his wife and sets out to win her over.
