Released in 1988, Fleetwood Mac’s Greatest Hits was the first compilation album released by the band. It charted at number one in both the US and the UK and has since been certified 12x platinum in the US.

The album features 17 tracks spanning the band’s career from their 1967 debut album Fleetwood Mac to their 1987 album Tango in the Night. The tracks were selected by the band’s then-current line-up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham.
