It was produced by DreamWorks Animation and released by Paramount Pictures. It was directed by Chris Miller, and produced by Aron Warner, Andrew Adamson, and John H. Williams. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and Antonio Banderas reprised their previous roles, with Justin Timberlake, Rupert Grint, and Christine Taylor joining the cast.
