Mary J. Blige has announced that she will release a new album in November. The album will be called simply “Strength of a Woman” and will be Blige’s first album since splitting from her husband and manager Kendu Isaacs.

In a statement on her website, Blige said that the album would be about “the strength it takes to rebuild.” Blige has been through a great deal of personal turmoil in recent years, including a highly publicized divorce and a battle with alcoholism.
