A MAC address is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on the physical network. Every device that connects to a network must have a unique MAC address.

There are a few different ways to get the MAC address of a computer. One way is to open the Command Prompt and type in the command “ipconfig /all.” The MAC address will be listed next to “Physical Address.”
