Rizzoli & Isles is an American crime drama television series based on the novels of the same name by Tess Gerritsen. The series premiered on TNT on July 12, 2010 and ran for seven seasons.

The series follows Boston detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and medical examiner Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander) who, despite being complete opposites, team up to solve crimes.
