Sonic CD is an action game developed and published by Sega. The game was first released for the Sega CD in 1993, and was later ported to Microsoft Windows in 1996. A remake of the game was released for Android and iOS in December 2011.

The objective of Sonic CD is to collect the seven Chaos Emeralds and to stop Dr. Robotnik from building his Death Egg. The game features Sonic the Hedgehog and his sidekick, Tails. The player can choose one of two playable characters, Sonic or Tails.
