Sam Hunt is back with a brand new album and he is shaking things up this time around. His new cd, “Montevallo,” is a departure from the typical country sound.

The album is named after the town where Hunt grew up. It is a mix of country, folk, and rock music. Hunt wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on the album.

He has been quoted as saying, “I wanted to make an album that my friends from back home could listen to and not change the channel when my stuff came on.”
