Barry Gibb, one of the most successful songwriters of all time, released his first solo album in more than thirty years on March 14, 2014. Entitled “In the Now”, the album was preceded by the single “Heartbreaker” in February.

The album’s title track, “In the Now”, was written by Gibb about the death of his younger brother Andy, who died in 1988. The song is a poignant tribute to Andy, and was described by Gibb as “the most difficult song [he] ever wrote in [his] life.”
