Ubuntu Booting From Cd

If you’re having trouble booting Ubuntu from your CD or DVD drive, there are a couple of things you can try.

First, make sure that your optical drive is correctly set as the first boot device in your computer’s BIOS. To do this, restart your computer and press the appropriate key to enter the BIOS setup screen. (On most computers, this key is the Delete or F2 key.) Navigate to the Boot menu and make sure that your optical drive is listed as the first boot device.
