Beginning in 2021, the time zone in Ciudad Juárez will change from Mountain Standard Time to Central Standard Time.

This change was announced in November of 2018 by the Mexican government, and it will go into effect on the first Sunday of April, 2021.

The reason for the change is that Ciudad Juárez is located in the state of Chihuahua, which is on the same time zone as the Mexican capital of Mexico City.
