Cert Computer Emergency Response Team

The Cert Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a United States Government agency that is dedicated to helping computer users protect their systems from attack and helping system administrators respond to attacks. CERT was established in 1988 in response to the Morris worm, a computer worm that caused extensive damage to computers in the United States.
