Death In Paradise is a British-French crime comedy-drama television series created by Robert Thorogood and produced by BBC Worldwide Productions. It stars Ben Miller as Inspector Richard Poole and Kris Marshall as DI Humphrey Goodman.

The series is set on the fictional Caribbean island of Saint-Marie, and follows the investigations of the Saint-Marie Police Department. The first series, consisting of six episodes, aired on BBC One from 20 January to 24 February 2011.
