Freaks and Geeks is an American teen comedy-drama television series created by Paul Feig and produced by Judd Apatow. The series aired on NBC during the 1999–2000 television season.

The series follows the lives of two groups of high school students: the “freaks,” who are students who are not popular and have few social skills, and the “geeks,” who are students who are nerdy and intelligent but have few social skills.

The series was cancelled by NBC after one season, but has since been released on DVD and has developed a cult following.
