Puente Santa Fe is a bridge in the city of Ciudad Juárez, in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. It spans the Rio Grande, connecting Ciudad Juárez with the U.S. city of El Paso, Texas. The bridge is part of the Mexican Federal Highway 45.
The bridge was completed in 1974, and originally had four lanes. In 1998, it was widened to six lanes.
The Puente Santa Fe is a major transportation link between Ciudad Juárez and El Paso, and is used by many people and businesses. In 2007, the bridge carried an estimated 9.5 million vehicles.
