The show stars Redd Foxx as Fred Sanford, a widower who’s been forced to move in with his son, Lamont (Demond Wilson). Fred is a cantankerous old man who loves to tease his son and make life difficult for him. However, Fred also has a heart of gold and he’s always there for Lamont when he needs him.
