On September 4th, 2018, CD Projekt Red issued an apology for their handling of the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitch stream.
The apology came in the form of a letter from CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwiński and studio head Adam Kiciński. In the letter, they admitted that they had failed to live up to the company’s own standards in their handling of the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitch stream.
