Daddy’s Home 2 is a 2017 American family comedy film directed by Sean Anders and written by Anders and John Morris. It is the sequel to the 2015 film Daddy’s Home. The film stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Linda Cardellini, John Cena, and Mel Gibson. The plot follows Dusty (Ferrell) and Brad (Wahlberg) as they attempt to reunite their respective fathers (Gibson and Cena) for Christmas.

Principal photography began on October 10, 2016, in Boston, Massachusetts. The film was released in the United States on November 10, 2017, by Paramount Pictures. It has grossed over $200 million worldwide.
