Kubo and the Two Strings is a 2016 American 3D stop-motion fantasy adventure film directed by Travis Knight and produced by Laika Entertainment. It was written by Marc Haimes and Chris Butler, based on a story by Haimes and Knight. The film stars the voices of Art Parkinson, Charlize Theron, Ralph Fiennes, Rooney Mara, George Takei, and Matthew McConaughey.

The film follows a young boy named Kubo (Parkinson) who must go on a quest to find a magical suit of armor worn by his late father in order to defeat a vengeful spirit from the past.
