Gravity Falls is an American animated television series created by Alex Hirsch. The series aired on Disney XD from June 15, 2012, to February 15, 2016. The series follows the adventures of Dipper and Mabel Pines, fraternal twins, with Gravity Falls being their summer home.

The show was announced on July 20, 2011, as a production of Disney Television Animation. On November 20, 2012, Disney Channel announced that Gravity Falls would move to Disney XD on February 15, 2013. The series finale aired on February 15, 2016.
