The Lord of the Rings DVD is a six-disc set released on November 18, 2003. The DVD includes the extended editions of The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King.

The set also includes a new, seven-minute featurette, “The Quest for the Ring”, which includes interviews with the cast and crew. There are also three new audio commentaries, with director Peter Jackson, writer Philippa Boyens, and composer Howard Shore.
