The Proud Family is an American animated sitcom that ran on Disney Channel from September 15, 2001 to August 19, 2005. The Proud Family was created by Bruce W. Smith and produced by Jambalaya Productions and Disney Television Animation. The series follows the lives of an African-American family, the Prouds.
