The father of the computer is John Atanasoff. He was born on October 4, 1903, in Hamilton, New York. He died on June 15, 1995, in Ames, Iowa. He was an American physicist and electrical engineer. He was best known for his work on the first electronic digital computer, the Atanasoff-Berry Computer (ABC).
