Weathering with You is an upcoming Japanese animated film written and directed by Makoto Shinkai. The film is produced by CoMix Wave Films and distributed by Toho. It is set to be released in Japan on July 19, 2019.

Weathering with You tells the story of a teenage boy and girl in Tokyo who start a relationship with each other. The boy, Hiroshi, can see and manipulate the weather, while the girl, Mitsuha, can mysteriously transfer her consciousness into other people’s bodies.
