Garth Brooks has just released a new CD set called “The Anthology: Part I, The First Five Years.” The set celebrates the first five years of Brooks’ career, from 1989 to 1993.
The anthology includes 18 tracks, including the hits “The Dance,” “Friends in Low Places,” and “The Thunder Rolls.” Brooks also recorded five new tracks for the set, including the song “The Cowboy Song.”
“The Cowboy Song” is a nostalgic ballad about life on the farm. Brooks says that the song is about “the simplicity of life and the things that are important.”
