Gnomio and Juliet is an independently made, low-budget film shot in 2006 and released on DVD in 2007. It is a modern retelling of the Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet, set in the fictional town of Gnomio. The film was shot in 14 days on a budget of $6,000.

Gnomio and Juliet stars Sarah Lafleur and Jesse James as the title characters. Lafleur and James had never met before shooting the film, and had to learn their lines phonetically. The film also features a cameo appearance by Shakespearean actor Patrick Stewart.
