Disney’s The Little Mermaid was first released in theaters in November 1989 and was an instant hit. The film tells the story of Ariel, a mermaid who falls in love with a human prince and gives up her voice to become human so she can be with him.

Now, over 25 years later, Disney is releasing a Platinum Edition DVD of The Little Mermaid. The new DVD will include all the classic animated episodes, plus a bonus disc of never-before-seen bonus features.
