Released in 1986, Somewhere In Time tells the story of a young man who becomes obsessed with a woman he saw in a photograph. Drawn to the past, he finds a way to travel back in time and meet her.

The film was shot on location in Mackinac Island, Michigan, and at various other locations in the United States. It was produced by Unapix Entertainment and released by Universal Pictures.

Somewhere In Time was nominated for two Academy Awards, for Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design.
