Starsky and Hutch is an American crime drama television series which originally aired on the ABC network from April 7, 1975, to May 3, 1979. The show stars David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser as the title characters, two streetwise plainclothes detectives in the fictional city of Bay City, California.

The series was created by William Blinn, and executive produced by Aaron Spelling. It was one of the first American primetime television series to be released on DVD.
