Computer Launched Video Game Industry Years

The computer-launched video game industry has been around for years. It all started with simple games that were played on computers, and has evolved into a multi-billion dollar industry.

The first video game ever created was called “Tennis for Two” and was created in 1958 by William Higinbotham. The game was played on an oscilloscope and was only two minutes long.

In 1969, Nolan Bushnell created “Pong” which was the first game to be played on a home console. “Pong” quickly became a popular arcade game and helped to launch the video game industry.
