Sonic CD is a popular side-scrolling platform game released for the Sega CD in 1993. The game allows players to choose one of four playable characters – Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, or Amy.

The game’s levels are divided into seven “zones”, each of which contains two “acts”. The first act usually consists of reaching the end of the level, while the second usually involves rescuing one or more hostages from Dr. Robotnik.
