Diablo 2 is an action role-playing hack and slash video game developed by Blizzard North and released by Blizzard Entertainment in 2000 for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and PlayStation. The game is the second installment in the Diablo series and was followed by Diablo III in 2012.

The game continues the story of Diablo, a hero who defeats the Lord of Terror, Diablo, in the first game.
