The Ghost and Mrs. Muir is a popular American television series that aired from September 25, 1968 to March 21, 1970. The show was about a young widow, Carolyn Muir, who moves into a cottage on the English coast. The cottage is haunted by the ghost of a sea captain, Daniel Gregg. Despite the fact that Gregg is a ghost, Carolyn and Gregg develop a close friendship. The show was based on the 1947 movie of the same name.
