The Muppet Christmas Carol is a 1992 American musical fantasy comedy-drama film directed by Brian Henson and produced by The Jim Henson Company. It is the fourth feature-length film starring the Muppets, and the second following the death of Muppets creator Jim Henson. The film is based on Charles Dickens’ 1843 novella A Christmas Carol, and stars Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge.
