The Top Gun Maverick Soundtrack CD is a great compilation of classic rock songs that were featured in the movie. Released in 1986, the soundtrack features songs by artists like Loverboy, Bon Jovi, and Berlin.

The album opens with the classic rock song “Hearts on Fire” by Lou Gramm. The song was a huge hit and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. Next is the rock anthem “Top Gun Anthem” by Harold Faltermeyer and Steve Stevens. The song was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Composition.
