Keith Urban’s new cd, “Ripcord”, was released on May 6th, 2016. It is his 8th studio album.

The album was produced by Urban, Dann Huff, and Greg Wells. It was recorded at The Tracking Room in Nashville, and at Urban’s own home studio.

The album includes the singles “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16”, “Break on Me”, “Wasted Time”, and “Blue Ain’t Your Color”.

“Ripcord” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first week sales of 266,000 copies. It is the second consecutive album of Urban’s to debut at number one.
