Most Powerful Chess Computer

The world’s most powerful chess computer is the AlphaZero artificial intelligence (AI) program, developed by Google’s DeepMind subsidiary. In December 2017, AlphaZero defeated the world’s best chess-playing computer program, Stockfish, in a 100-game match.

AlphaZero is a so-called “supercomputer” designed to play and learn chess in a manner similar to humans. It is not connected to the internet, and instead relies on a massive database of chess games that it “studies” in order to improve its game.
