Batteries Not Included is a 1987 American fantasy comedy-drama film directed by Matthew Robbins and starring Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy. The story revolves around a group of elderly people who live in a boarding house that is threatened with demolition. They are aided by some friendly aliens who have come to Earth to find a new place to live.

The film was shot in Toronto and was a box office success, grossing over $40 million in the United States. It has since become a cult classic.

The film was nominated for the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation.
