Pee Wee’s Playhouse is an American children’s television series that aired on CBS from 1986 to 1991. The show was created by Paul Reubens and John Paragon, and starred Reubens as Pee-wee Herman.

The show was a popular success and won a number of awards, including an Emmy for Outstanding Children’s Program. Reubens also created a Pee Wee Herman feature film, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, which was a financial and critical success.
