Rachel Platten is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She first came to prominence in 2015 with the release of her platinum-selling single “Fight Song”, which was used as the theme song for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 U.S. presidential campaign. Her debut album, Wildfire, was released on January 1, 2016.

Rachel Platten’s sophomore album, Waves, is set for release on November 9, 2018. The album’s lead single, “Better Place”, was released on July 20, 2018.

Waves is the follow-up to Rachel Platten’s 2015 debut album, Wildfire. Platten co-wrote every song on the album and co-produced it with Greg Wells.
