LG Electronics has announced the launch of its Ultra Slim DVD Writer (model GP65NB60). Measuring just 14.7mm thick, the drive is one of the thinnest on the market and can be easily carried around in a pocket or bag.

The GP65NB60 is a USB 2.0 drive that can write to both CD-R and CD-RW discs as well as to DVD±R and DVD±RW discs. It is also backward compatible with USB 1.1 ports.
