Reformatting Windows 10 Without Cd

Reformatting your computer’s hard drive is a process that completely erases all of the data currently on the drive and prepares it to be used again. In Windows 10, you can reformat your hard drive without having to use a CD. This can be done either through the Settings app or by using the Command Prompt.

To reformat your hard drive using the Settings app, open the app and click on the “Update & security” section. Click on “Recovery” in the left-hand menu, and then click on the “Get started” button under the “Reset this PC” section.
