Rise of the Witch King is a real-time strategy game based on the Lord of the Rings trilogy, made by Electronic Arts. It was first released for Windows in 2006, and was later ported to the Xbox 360.

The game allows the player to control either the forces of Sauron or the forces of the Free Peoples. The campaign follows the novel’s story, while the skirmish and multiplayer modes offer additional content.
