The Secretaria de Relaciones Exteriores (SRE) is the Mexican government agency responsible for the country’s external relations. It is headquartered in Mexico City, and has diplomatic missions in more than 180 countries. The SRE is headed by the Secretario de Relaciones Exteriores, who is appointed by the President of Mexico.
