PlayStation Now is a cloud-based gaming service offered by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The service allows users to access a selection of PlayStation 3 games that can be streamed to their PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PC.
The service was announced on January 7, 2014, during the PlayStation 4 press conference, and it was publicly released in the United States on July 31, 2014. PlayStation Now originally required a PlayStation Plus subscription in order to use the service, but this requirement was dropped on March 8, 2016.
