Dan and Shay are a duo made up of vocalists and songwriters Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney. The two first met in Nashville, Tennessee, and started working together in 2013. They released their self-titled debut album in 2014.

Dan and Shay’s sound is a mixture of country and pop. They have been compared to artists such as Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry.
