The Beatles movie “Across the Universe” was released on DVD on March 18, 2008. The DVD includes a commentary by director Julie Taymor and writer Dick Clement, as well as a making-of documentary.

The movie, which was released in 2007, is a tribute to the Beatles’ music. It tells the story of a young man, Jude (Jim Sturgess), who travels from Liverpool to New York in search of his father. Along the way, he meets and falls in love with a girl, Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood).
