Released on October 6, 2015, the Jem and the Holograms DVD is a feature-length film based on the popular ’80s animated series of the same name. The film tells the story of Jerrica Benton, a teenage girl who becomes a rock star after she and her three sisters create a hit Internet music video using their holographic computer, Synergy. Jem and the Holograms soon find themselves in the middle of a rivalry with the Misfits, a rival girl group led by the ruthless Eric Raymond.
